The marsh, the bog, the mire… I’m guessing you’ve been stuck here for a while? Chronic illness can feel like wading through a stagnant marsh, but stay here with me a little longer. This liminal space, between illness and health, is exactly where we begin.
I've sunk, lead the way 𓅯
The Marshland is a 3-month one to one journey for people living with chronic illness and stuck in the GP loop: dismissed, medicated, mislabelled, or told "your tests came back normal."

If you've been wading through symptoms that just won't shift... chronic illness can feel like the marshland.
Plans sink, paths vanish, answers turn to silt, and there's nowhere firm to step.
In ancient Celtic traditions, marshland was sacred: a threshold between worlds, between the seen and the unseen. That space you know so well between illness and health.
This is where we begin.
Not trying to escape the marsh, but learning what this landscape can show us.
Over three months, we look at:
𓅠 Where your illness is rooted 𓅠
𓅯 What illness is asking of you 𓅯
𓅣 What your body needs to recover and rebuild 𓅣
𓅯 How you relate to your body and your illness 𓅯
The Marshland is for you when...
✔️ You sense there's more to your illness than you've been told
✔️ You're willing to look at the emotional and spiritual layers of healing, not just the physical
✔️ You're open to changing how you eat, rest and live as part of the process
✔️ You're ready to take an active role in your own health
✔️ You understand that chronic illness takes time and patience to heal
✔️ You're drawn to older, land-based ways of understanding health, even if you're just beginning to explore them

Hello, im Lauren. 👋🏻
I created the Marshland because it's the kind of support I needed and struggled to find.
I've lived with chronic illness, neurodivergence, burnout and complex trauma, and I know how frustrating it is to be dismissed and sent away without support.
This work comes from that experience, and from years of learning to listen to my own body, to the land I live on, and to the wisdom of those who came before. It's also shaped by the people I've worked with and what they've taught me.
