I was asked by Beth Prince, the Community Engagement Officer from Somerset Waste Partnership, to do a 15 minute presentation on the community fridge in Frome. Unfortunately I couldn't make it down to Dorset for the presentation, so it took place over skype. Below are my notes.
Classroom alive is an open source learning model that creates and enables others to create projects in which a group of people get together to walk and learn. The first project they ran took them from Sweden to Greece in 6 months, along the way they studied subjects of their own choice and shared group learning, involving studies on the current economic system and basic income.
Me and Joana were lucky enough to take part in their week long boot camp, learning how to set up our own classroom alive journey
One of the most magical, soulful, mindblowing, life changing, delicious, sensuous, quiet, friendly, creative retreats I have ever been on. With much love and devotion to my teachers Rob Burbea and Catherine Mcgee.
Restorative Justice is doing some incredible work in this world, Enabling us to see the human in the 'other' and acknowledge the effect that even our smallest or most 'insignificant' actions can have on them.
Home study from path of the imaginal retreat held by Rob Burbea a year ago. I am studying this work in order to take part in a retreat in March; Of hermits and lovers - the alchemy of desire at Gaia house.
Two of my beautiful friends, Francesco and Lucia asked me to marry them! At first i thought they wanted me to actually marry them, but then they explained that they actually wanted me to be the priestess at their love ceremony, and to help them design the ceremony. What an honor!!
I came up with some ideas about the structure, beautiful things to have as part of a ceremony, intentions for their time together, rituals etc, and then we got together to talk through what they wanted. We came up with some ideas, and spent an afternoon and evening finalising plans.
The ceremony was small, beautiful, simple, and relaxed. Below are some pictures and some plan drafts. <3
